You know the festive season has arrived when it’s time for the annual Christmas light-up. Come join us for an afternoon of family activities, food, and live kids’ entertainment to welcome the holiday season at Lanitis Carob Mill, in Limassol. Join Santa in a countdown to light up the Christmas tree and the all singing Live ‘Epilogi’ who will be spreading some Christmas cheer with carols on Saturday, November 30th, 2013, at 5.00pm.
In the giving spirit of Christmas, and to support the needs of the Hematology centre of Limassol’s General Hospital, blood donations will start off the event at 1.00pm until 4.00pm at Lanitis Carob Mill, as part of PrimeTel and Carob Mill Restaurants’ ‘Think Red, Think Positive’ charitable campaign that originally launched in October. Coca-Cola is also a special contributor to this event, emphasizing the importance of being generous and optimistic. Citizens who want to support and help others in the community are therefore encouraged to take part.
And this is only the beginning to a wonderful night ahead. Switching on of the sparkly Christmas lights by honorable guest and Cyprus’ Red Cross President Mrs. Fotini Papadopoulou will be next, so stick around for some holiday fun and soak up the magical atmosphere while sipping on mulled wine and other hot beverages. From face painting to giveaways for children and candy; there’ll be something for everyone. Refreshments will also be available for purchase at the Red Cross’s Caravan and all proceeds from the items bought will go to Red Cross’s Children’s Hospital. A Stilt Walker will even make an appearance and Live Link to Klik FM will wrap up the festivities.
The Christmas Tree Lights Spectacular event is bound to capture the spirit of Christmas and create lasting memories for all. A wonderful experience for the whole family to enjoy at Lanitis Carob Mill: the perfect place to mark the beginning of Christmas that will be alive with colour every day and night for the entire Holiday season.
