Account Manager and Traffic Analyst

What will your job look like?

Accountable to the Wholesale Manager

  • Continually seek new business opportunities, and expand partnerships with Carriers for Wholesale Services and be responsible to match and exceed the assigned personal monthly/quarterly buy and sell targets;
  • Increase the number of SMS Interconnections by approaching new Carriers, performing business analysis, deciding whether to proceed with an Agreement and Interconnection or not and handling the interconnection process from contract review until going live;
  • Accountable for the overall performance of communication, customer support and overall customer satisfaction;
  • Monitor the daily wholesale traffic reports in systems and perform testing to monitor quality and identify any issues with quality, rates, routing;
  • Raise and handle retail and wholesale tickets with our international telecommunication carriers and HUBs, for any services supported and owned by the Wholesale department;
  • Communication with the company’s mobile engineers for tickets escalation or for new interconnections;
  • Overall support the wholesale team in any technical aspect related to tickets/tests/interconnections/reports and be a point of contact between the wholesale team and the company’s mobile engineers.
  • Perform any routing changes needed, to ensure the best quality and highest profit, based on available providers;
  • Upload pricelists in systems and checks/corrects rates is systems;
  • Handle and coordinate invoices disputes for all carriers and keep communication with the company’s finance department and the carriers;
  • Interaction with our systems’ support team and developers for requesting improvements, fixes of bugs, and new features.
  • Monitor SMS alerts during working and non-working hours and take actions to open ticket to the involved supplier or internal engineers teams where needed, and/or inform a routing manager or other team member to apply routing changes, and/or apply routing change directly upon taking approval from a routing manager; assumes responsibility on following up on such issues until resolution of the issue;
  • Be involved and assist the Wholesale team in Wholesale Local, related to contracts, reporting, traffic analysis and better organizing and expanding the business;
  • Support the Wholesale Department with any other ad hoc duties and Projects of the Department;
  • Any other tasks and responsibilities may be added and/or modified, for other related services of the Wholesale Department, including but not limited to Voice, SMS and Roaming Services.
  • Travels to locations of the company or other offices inland as required for the performance of the above duties;
  • Any other duties, tasks and responsibilities as may be assigned and/or amended by the management;

All you need is…

  • University Degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science/Mathematics/IT/Telecommunications or any other related field;
  • Excellent analytical skills, well organized, and excellent problem solving skills;
  • Pro-active, able to work on own initiative, and work well under pressure;
  • Able to handle multiple concurrent tasks within deadlines, without compromising quality;
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in multicultural multi-geographic environments;
  • Good team work player in cross-functional tasks and strong interpersonal skills;
  • Be able to communicate well and maintain good business relationships with both commercial and technical people/teams;
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and especially of MS Excel;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English;
  • Previous work experience in Telecoms will be considered as an advantage, but it is not a requirement if excellent steady academic and/or professional track can be proved;
  • Attention to detail / accuracy;
  • Creates new and inventive approaches to work-related issues. Identifies fresh approaches and shows a willingness to question traditional assumptions;
  • Respects and works well with others;
  • Be receptive to feedback from management and colleagues and try to use this feedback in a constructive manner with the goal of continues improvement;
