Konami announced several new Silent Hill projects

Great announcements from Konami for fans of the Silent Hill series, as the company has revealed that it is working on several projects that will be released in the near and mid-term future.

In fact, the company announced the Silent Hill 2 Remake by Bloober Team (Layers of Fear), which has been working on the project for 3 years and even reports that it has entered the final stage for its completion, so we are quite close in the release date announcement. This particular episode is considered the top of the series and is expected to be darker and scarier than ever.

Another interesting project is Silent Hill: Townfall, which is being prepared by No Code Studios (Observation, Stories Untold) and Annapurna Interactive (What Remains of Edith Finch, Stray). Apart from the trailer, no details about the story, gameplay style and release date have been revealed, just a voice warning us that "we came here to be punished".

The next brand new Silent Hill f will take us to Japan in the 1960s, to a rural and deserted town. It is being developed by Ryukishi07 (When They Cry) and Studio Neobards who has previously worked on the multiplayer modes of Resident Evil Re:Verse and Resident Evil Resistance.

Finally, Konami has confirmed the production of a new film and Silent Hill Ascencion, for which we have no further information at this stage.
