New ways to configure your Facebook Feed

Facebook's core function is to help users express themselves and connect with other people and communities. In addition to news coming from friends, Groups and Pages, Facebook shows suggestions from content creators and communities that the user may not know and may be interested in. What we see in our personal Feed is uniquely personalized to our interests through machine learning technology.

Meta adds new ways to shape what we see in the Facebook Feed so we discover what's most relevant to our interests. Now we can choose to Show More or Show Less on posts from friends, communities and Facebook suggestions. With Show More, the respective content will gradually increase, while with Show Less, it will decrease. Thanks to these options, the company's algorithm is constantly trained to present more relevant suggestions.

The new Show More and Show Less options will soon be added to every Facebook Feed post under the three vertical dots menu on every post. At the same time, the corresponding tests for Reels will also begin.
