Twitter officially starts testing Edit Button

Its a fact. After a few months of internal testing, Twitter has officially announced that it is starting wider testing of the long-awaited Edit button for subscribers of the Twitter Blue package in the coming weeks.

What is Edit Tweet

This is a function that gives the user the ability to make changes to already published tweets. Think of it as a small period of time where you can correct spelling mistakes, add tags, etc. In this phase there will be up to 30 minutes to make changes, while each edited tweet will have a relevant icon and label to indicate to readers that it has been processed. You will also be able to see previous versions of the tweet.

Who will try the Edit Tweet feature?

The test will be conducted on small groups of users subscribed to the Twitter Blue package. How the feature is used will determine the final form that finally reaches users, but the company has not made it clear whether it will offer it to all users of the social network or whether it will be kept as a lure to become a Twitter Blue subscriber.
