WhatsApp is working on message reactions

WhatsApp has been reportedly working on message reactions. This feature will let users react to messages and it’s already available on several popular messaging apps like Messenger, Twitter and Instagram as well.

According to WABetainfo, WhatsApp message reactions feature is currently under development, and it will be available in a future update for beta testers. Then, users should be able to react to a message with emoji.

The screenshot posted by WABetainfo proves that users need to have the latest version of WhatsApp in order to use reactions. In fact, if you respond to someone’s message who running an older version of WhatsApp, they will receive a message telling them to update the app.

Message reactions are the latest addition to the expanding list of WhatsApp features that are still in development and haven't been released yet to the public.
