YouTube is finally testing a feature that lets users download videos from their browser. According to Android Police, a video download button has been added and is only available as an experimental feature for Premium subscribers.
The download button is placed right next to the share option below videos, or alongside the three-dot menu when browsing. A video is saved to your offline YouTube library after it is downloaded. You can save videos in resolutions ranging from 144p to 1080p.
It should be mentioned that a similar mobile video download function is already available for YouTube subscribers.
