Tens of millions of people around the world use iPhones as their primary communication device, but it's to be expected that they don't know all the great features Apple has built in. One of them is Visual Look Up, for which a separate topic has been created on the company's support page, and a new informative video explaining how to take advantage of it.

Visual Look Up is a tool that can identify objects in the images you see within various Apple apps, such as pets, art, locations, monuments, etc., and provide you with more information about them with one click. These apps include Mail, Messages, Notes and Safari, and by holding your finger over an image you will see the "i" icon which, when tapped, will display information pulled from the Internet or from the digital assistant Siri. Similar images from the Internet are also displayed.

Essentially, Visual Look Up is a lighter version of Google Lens that you can download as a separate iOS app from the App Store. In some cases, however, there's the possibility that it won't find image information, but Apple is constantly developing its own tool to get up to the level of Lens.

Note that Visual Look Up is supported on iPhones and iPads running iOS 15 and iPadOS 15.1 or later versions.
