Yes, eSIM QR codes are unique. Each eSIM has its own distinct QR code that contains specific information related to the connected subscription. Once the QR code is scanned and as long as the eSIM is activated on your device, the QR code can be reused as long as it has been deleted from your previous device. This unique QR code ensures that only your device can access and activate the eSIM associated with your subscription.
In the event that your phone has been stolen or lost, you should immediately contact our Call Center (133) for the deactivation of the eSIM, to prevent it’s unauthorized use. We will be able to replace your eSIM at Primetel Virtual Shop or any Primetel shop. The charge for the replacement will be according to the Company’s Pricelist.
The change of eSIM from one device to another is supported, provided that the eSIM has been deleted from the device where it was initially installed. In case you don't have access to the device where your eSIM is installed and you want to delete it in order to reinstall it, you can do it using the following methods:
- Visit the Primetel Selfcare subscriber zone
- Through the MyPrimetel App
- Book an appointment through the Virtual Shop
- Visit one of the Primetel stores
Activating the eSIM is done simply by scanning a QR code.
More than one eSIM profiles can be supported. The number of the supported eSIM profiles may vary according to the device’s specifications (usually one or two).
The Roaming service is not available to the following countries: Areas of the Republic of Cyprus not under the effective control of the Government, Turkey, Japan, Gabon, Republic of the Congo, Bhutan, Central African Republic, Nauru, Guam, Guinea Bissau, Mauritania, Rwanda, Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha, Sao Tome and Principe, Somalia, South Sudan, Venezuela, Mayotte, Bolivia, Colombia, Namibia.
