Apple unveiled three new computers this week: the new all-in-one iMac desktop, the small but powerful new Mac mini and the new MacBook Pro family of business laptops, all powered by the M4 processor and designed for Apple Intelligence.
The new iMac offers amazing performance, a choice of nano-texture display, 12MP Center Stage camera and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, all in an ultra-slim design. With the M4 processor, the new iMac is up to 1.7 times faster for everyday productivity and up to 2.1 times faster for demanding tasks such as photo editing and gaming, compared to the iMac with the M1 processor. With Neural Engine in the M4 processor, iMac is the world's best all-in-one for artificial intelligence and is built for Apple Intelligence, the personal intelligence system that transforms the way users work, communicate and express themselves while protecting their privacy. The new iMac is available in a range of beautiful new colours and the 24-inch Retina 4.5K 24-inch display offers a new nano-textured glass option.
The all-new Mac mini, powered by the M4 and new M4 Pro chips, has been redesigned around Apple silicon to deliver incredible performance in an even smaller form factor of just 5 by 5 inches. For easier connectivity, it now features front and rear ports and for the first time includes Thunderbolt 5 for faster data transfers on the M4 Pro model. The new Mac mini marks a major environmental milestone as Apple's first carbon-neutral Mac, with more than an 80 percent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions in its materials, manufacturing, transportation and use.
The new MacBook Pro features the incredibly powerful M4 family of processors - M4, M4 Pro and M4 Pro Max - that deliver blazing-fast performance and enhanced capabilities. The 14-inch MacBook Pro 14-inch delivers lightning-fast performance through M4 and includes three Thunderbolt 4 ports, starting with 16GB of memory. The 14- and 16-inch models with M4 Pro and M4 Max feature Thunderbolt 5 for fast data transfers and advanced connectivity. All models feature a Liquid Retina XDR display and there's an all-new nano-texture display option with up to 1000 nits brightness for SDR content, an advanced 12MP Center Stage camera, and up to 24 hours of battery life, the longest ever on a Mac.
The new iMac, the new Mac mini and the new MacBook Pro are available for Pre-Order immediately and their official launch begins on 8 November in Cyprus.
