Apple officially introduced the Apple Watch Series 8 and the new second-generation Apple Watch SE, both with revolutionary technologies and performance, but also with important innovations regarding user safety. Apple Watch Series 8 comes with a large Always-On Retina display and durable crystal, one-day battery life, leading health monitoring functions and a host of user safety innovations such as electrocardiogram, fall detection, ovulation estimation for women through measurement body temperature, Crash Detection and global roaming support.

The new Apple Watch SE brings the core of the Apple Watch experience, including Activity Tracking, high or low heart rate alerts, Emergency SOS and Crash Detection with a completely redesigned back that perfectly matches the three classic finishes and affordable price of $249. Both of Apple's new smartwatches run watchOS 9, which brings with it new watch faces with plenty of personalization options, an upgraded Workout app, first-of-its-kind atrial fibrillation tracking and an all-new Medications app.
