About the Survey
The Best Buy Award 2025/2026 research was conducted by ICERTIAS – International Certification Association GmbH on a sample of 1,200 respondents over 18 in Cyprus. The research took place in July 2025 through a web survey using the CAWI – DEEPMA (Computer Assisted Web Interviewing – Deep Mind Awareness) method.
With its spearhead being mobile and fixed telephony services, Broadband Internet services, as well as prepaid mobile, Primetel managed to gather the largest number of responses to the question:
“Identify the name of a telecommunications provider that, according to your personal experience, offers the best quality–price ratio in the Cypriot market.”

About the Best Buy Award program
The research measures the best price-quality ratio of products and services offered on the local market, according to the experience and opinion of consumers themselves.
The main goal of the research is to gain insight into the consumer experience and perception of products and services, as well as manufacturers and providers that are considered to provide the best price-quality ratio (the so-called Best Buy) by users.
The aim of the Best Buy Award project and certificate is to facilitate customers in finding the best and most affordable products and services on the market.
It is important to note that the Best Buy Award research does not measure market share or brand strength, but only the experience, satisfaction, and perception of respondents regarding the quality and price of products and services on the market.
