Google makes it even easier for users to check the authenticity of their passwords, but also in the process of changing in case they have been breached. The new feature integrates Google Assistant and Chrome browser on Android devices, with the digital assistant notifying the user if their password has been breached and allowing them to change automatically without hassle.

Some Android device users have begun to see the functionality on their devices, with Max Weinbach and the Android Police website posting screenshots confirming the news. The first pop-up message states that the user's password is included in a leak and the option "Change Automatically" is displayed, while the second pop-up asks the user to give his approval to the digital assistant to automatically change the violated password.

The feature was announced at the Google I / O 2021 conference and is currently only supported by a few websites through the Chrome browser for Android devices. The reason for the delay is none other than the different way passwords are managed by each website or service. When activated, the user will be taken directly to the appropriate page to proceed with the change of password and the new password will be automatically added to his account.

You can manually check if the feature is enabled from the security settings menu in the Chrome app for Android devices.
