Google has announced the beta release of its Health Connect app, which is designed to gather all the data related to the user's Health and fitness from various other corresponding third-party apps (more than 10 so far).

Health Connect syncs this data and allows other apps to access it, as long as the user has given their consent, while providing a single control center for security and privacy.

With this application, both the hands of the users who will no longer need to install and monitor many health and fitness applications, but also of the developers who until now had to work on specific APIs for this communication to take place, are freed.

Health Connect was developed in partnership with Samsung, which shares the same vision of simplifying the connectivity and communication of these applications. Fitbit, Samsung Health, MyFitnessPal, Peloton, Oura, WeightWatchers, Flo, Lifesum, Signos, Tonal, Outdooractive and Proof Insight are supported in this first stage of beta operation.
