Instagram tests posting photos from your desktop

Instagram is testing a new feature that would let users post pictures from a desktop or laptop.

“We know that many people access Instagram from their computer.To improve that experience, we’re now testing the ability to create a Feed post on Instagram with their desktop browser’’, a spokesperson said.

There doesn’t seem to be any significant difference between posts that originate outside the app. If you want to post multiple photos, edit them and apply your favorite filter, it’s now possible and available to you from your computer.

It should be mentioned that the company confirmed an additional change on Instagram, as it introduces "suggested posts" into users’ feeds ahead of content from accounts they follow.
