Since last July, Microsoft had announced that it would stop supporting Cortana’s application for Android and iOS devices because no one was using its own digital assistant instead of Google Assistant and Siri.

The final end came recently, with the company finally ‘’unplugging’’ worldwide the application on March 31, 2021. The official reason for the withdrawal of Cortana’s app was that the company wishes to set up it from the start with a different approach that will enhance productivity.

All content and processes set up by users with the help of Cortana are no longer available through Android and iOS devices. In order to find their content, such as notes, lists, reminders, etc. they need to use their Windows PC or alternatively through the Microsoft To Do data synchronization application.

It should be mentioned that Microsoft has stopped supporting Cortana’s application from other types of devices, such as its Surface Headphones and Harman Kardon smart speakers.
