It was only a matter of time before Ubisoft returned to the popular Rainbow Six line of games on mobile platforms, despite a failed Elite Squad attempt last year. The company returns to the world inspired by Tom Clancy with Rainbow Six Mobile aspiring to do better.

In its announcement, Ubisoft reveals that it has been working on Rainbow Six Mobile for three years to optimize the game's environment and gameplay for touch screens, while promising that gamers will enjoy a top-notch and highly addictive Rainbow Six experience in small , but riveting battles.

Rainbow Six Mobile is a competitive tactical FPS with 5-on-5 battles and Attackers vs Defenders mode. The attacking team will aim to get the documents of the defending team, while the latter will try to protect them with traps, cameras, etc. In the first phase, the Bank and Border maps from the Rainbow Six Siege will be available.

The exact release date has not been announced, but we do know that it will be available for free with in-app trading options.
