Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy A14 5G, one of the smartphones that has been the star of the rumor mill in recent weeks. This is the direct successor to last year's Galaxy A13 5G, but this time we see improvements in screen resolution and selfie camera.
The Galaxy A14 5G comes with a 6.6'' IPS LCD screen with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The rest of the technical features remain as we know them from last year, i.e. MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage expandable using a microSD card up to 1TB.
In the camera sector, three sensors have been placed on the back, 50MP f/1.8 + 2MP f/2.4 macro + 2MP f/2.4 depth, while the selfie camera has been upgraded to 13MP f/2.0. The battery capacity is again large at 5000mAh and the device supports charging at 15W power.
The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G will be released with Android 13 (OneUI 5.0) operating system in Black, Light Green, Dark Red and Silver colors. It will launch next week in the US for $199, with Europe expected later.
