Shazam app is now available as a Chrome extension

One of the most useful tools that facilitate users' experience is Shazam. Using the app, users can easily identify a song they hear on TV, radio, or in a movie.

Shazam has announced that is rolling out an extension for Google users that can be used to identify the song playing in the tab. The extension can be downloaded from the Chrome web store. Users can install it like any extension and tap the blue icon to use it.

Users are claiming that the app is not yet fully functional, at least for some of them. We're not sure if this is because it's in beta, so keep that in mind if you download it and it doesn't work for you. We expect the problems to be addressed in a future update.
