Snapchat adds new features and opens up Snapchat for Web to all users

The fall brings new features to the popular Snapchat app, with the company focusing on the chat area that is gradually becoming a very strong card for its social network.

The new Lock Screen Widgets, available for iOS 16, give you the ability to keep conversations with your friends visible on the iPhone Lock Screen to instantly continue the conversation with a tap. You also save time when you want to start Snapping by bringing the Snapchat Camera right to your fingertips.

The new Chat Shortcuts at the top of the chats tab makes it super easy to do things like find unread Snaps and Chats from friends, see missed calls, and reply to Stories. In addition, Shortcuts remind you to reply to an incoming message and inform you about your friends' birthdays.

Finally, the company is adding Question Stickers for Snapchat Stories and opening up Snapchat for Web, the web version of the app, to all users via web.snapchat.com.
