The older ones will obviously remember the famous Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles through the cartoons on TV and the arcade games that were released in the late ‘80s - early ‘90s.
The news is that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are back in the spotlight through a new beat ‘em up game prepared by Tribute Games and Dotemu. The two companies have officially announced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, which is a sequel to Turtles in Time released in 1991.
The game will retain the retro graphics, but with the expected gameplay optimizations to present times. Beyond that, there will be a co-op mode for up to 4 players simultaneously to face their rivals. Of course, all the familiar characters in Shredder's Revenge are returning from the TV series, so nostalgia is guaranteed.
The release date hasn’t been announced, but it is assumed that we will see it on Windows PCs and game consoles.
