A new feature that is quite reminiscent of Instagram's Close Friends is gradually being integrated by Twitter into its social network. Twitter Circle has started to appear to some users giving them the opportunity to choose a closed circle of users who will be able to see their tweet.

To be precise, Twitter Circle allows you to select up to 150 accounts that will have access to your tweet, whether they are followers of your own account or not, but will not be able to retweet. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.

Those who have been selected by the user for the Twitter Circle he has created will not be able to remove their account from there, but will at least be allowed to mute any updates that may occur if a discussion opens below it.

The company emphasizes that the Twitter Circle should not be confused with Communities, because the latter serve a completely different purpose, that of members' discussion on specific issues that have been identified from the beginning. In addition, it will be available for free to everyone unlike the Super Follows of the Twitter Blue subscription package.

Twitter Circle will appear as an option in tweets in the Choose Audience section.
