Viber has announced that is making the disappearing messages feature - which was previously an option only for one-on-one chats - available in group chats.
More significantly, users will not have to go through a multi-step procedure to alter the status of group messages, since the feature has been built so that members can easily enable it and disable it directly within the chat.
Additionally, users will be able to set the display time of messages in a group chat - the disappearance options will be for 10 seconds, one minute, one hour or one day. It should be mentioned that Viber will automatically notify group chat members if another member of the chat takes a screenshot of a message set to disappear.
