The popular service WhatsApp is launching from today the ability to send messages to yourself, wanting in this way to make it easier for users to take notes, set reminders, create lists, etc.

The feature is called Message Yourself and the first tests were started by beta testers of the service last month. The launch starts today for the versions of the service on Android and iOS devices, but it is possible that it will take a few days or even weeks to reach everyone worldwide.

The truth is, there was a way to send messages to yourself on WhatsApp, you just had to perform a few extra steps to do it. With Message Yourself, the process is completely simplified, since your name will also appear in the contacts when you try to start a new conversation, and even at the top of the list.

Similar solutions are offered by other messaging services, such as Telegram and Signal, however, none are as user-friendly compared to the implementation prepared by the WhatsApp development team.
