Youtube recently introduced its new feature called Chapters, which allows creators to split their videos into different chapters to make it easier for users to navigate.

Also, Youtube seems that is willing to take advantage of Chapters, as it will use it in search results to display more accurate videos.

What does this mean; If you are looking for something specific in a video, the search engine will display the relevant chapter instead of the entire video.

YouTube also adds previews to mobile search results, so users can watch a short clip before clicking on the video. YouTube is also expected to expand into other languages in search results, where if users can’t find what they’re looking for in their primary language, it will display content in other languages with translated captions, titles, and descriptions.

According to YouTube, this will mainly apply to videos in English and is currently being tested in India and Indonesia. However, Youtube may consider expanding to more countries based on user feedback.
