Google is introducing five new capabilities to the Chrome mobile app for Android and iOS to improve the search experience when using the web browser. To begin, Google has built a tool called Chrome Actions that displays relevant alternatives in search results, allowing you to accomplish things quickly.

For example, if you're looking for a restaurant, Chrome will display links to contact, obtain directions, and read reviews about it. Using different trigger phrases in the search bar allows for a wide range of tasks. Google announced in a blog post that Chrome Actions is now available on Android and will be coming to iOS in the fall..

Chrome now has a new shortcut suggestions feature that improves search results based on what you frequently enter to find a specific website. For example, you might type "schedules" to access your local metro operator's website because the word is in the site's description.

The function attempts to ensure that the metro website appears higher in search results when you type "schedules" into the address bar. It is now accessible for both Android and iOS. Chrome for iOS now displays trending searches when you tap the address bar on a new tap page. This capability is already available for Android and the Web.

Chrome for Android tablets and iPads now includes a revamped address bar that takes use of larger screens. The Material You treatment has been applied to the address bar, and it now displays as an overlay above the current webpage. So you may immediately return to the website if necessary.

Google has also changed Chrome's Discover Feed to display live sports cards. It will provide automatic updates on ongoing games for clubs you've previously followed or expressed interest in.
