Pulse 9 a company that plays a key role in the field of Artificial Intelligence decided to create a K-pop group Eternity with members who aren’t actually real. Eternity was created using deepfake technology to simulate hyper-realistic images of K-pop stars, like Blackpink and Red Velvet.

The CEO of Pulse 9 Park Ji-eun told “unlike human singers, AI members can freely express themselves and weigh in on diverse social issues because they are less vulnerable to malicious comments and criticisms. As a creator, I can also add more fantastical and (impactful) elements to them, making them more distinguishable from existing K-pop acts.”

In the video that was published there are several similarities with real members from bands but we can tell that with a little more time and improvement in the technology the results would be more spectacular.
