Apple Intelligence is coming on 28, October with iOS 18.1 release

Last month, Apple stated that Apple Intelligence features would be available in October 2024 as part of the first feature update for iOS 18 and iPadOS 18. As we approach the end of October, Mark Gurman's latest revelation has disclosed the claimed launch date.

Gurman claims that consumers with compatible iPhones, iPads, and Macs will get Apple Intelligence features on October 28. However, not all Apple Intelligence functions will be available in iOS 18.1. Features such as ChatGPT integration and Genmoji will be available with iOS 18.2. Apple also plans to provide more Siri updates with iOS 18.4, which is set to be released in March 2025. These improvements include better app control and the ability to access more personal information in order to respond to user questions.

Another fascinating fact is that Apple intends to gradually roll out the first wave of Apple Intelligence capabilities to ensure that its servers can handle the rush of users. Apple Intelligence will be available on the iPhone 15 Pro Series and newer, as well as M1-based iPads and Macs.

Mark Gurman reports that Apple plans to introduce many new products on Friday, November 1. They include the following:

• M4-based 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, including a low-end 14-inch variant.
• A redesigned Mac mini with the M4 and M4 Pro processors.
• An updated iMac with the M4 processor.
• The seventh-generation iPad mini.

That's not everything. In the first half of 2025, Apple plans to renew the MacBook Air series (13-inch and 15-inch models with the M4 processor), redesign the iPhone SE, introduce two new iPad Air models (11-inch and 13-inch) with updated accessories, and release a new version of AirTag. Devices such as the Mac Studio and Mac Pro may appear closer to mid-2025 or in the second part of the year, alongside the iPhone 17 Series and new Apple Watch variants.
