With Apple's event finishing yesterday, the company introduced one of its greatest upcoming devices, the completely redesigned iMac, which is the most elegant desktop in the recent history of Apple.

The company made a gigantic leap and introduced the redesign of the new iMac, which its thickness is only 11.5mm, due to the M1 chip. Apple used the M1 processor and achieved to reduce the size of the devices so that the new iMac will now be 50 percent smaller than the previous model.

The new iMac features a 24-inch 4.5K Retina display. Of course, the company kept the bezel at the bottom of the screen, which includes the hardware and the new speaker system with dual woofers and tweeters, delivering users a brilliant experience (Spatial Audio + Dolby Atmos). The new iMac also includes a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, studio-quality mics, and the company claimed to have been able to increase CPU performance by up to 85 percent and graphic performance by 50 percent.

The power supply plugs into the new flat back of the new iMac via a magnetic connector. Also, if you’re looking for an Ethernet port on the back, try harder. Apple installed the port inside the power supply. On the technical side, there are four USB-C ports on the back, two of which boast Thunderbolt capability.

The new iMac will be released in May and will be available in 7 different colors, with the main model of 8GB RAM + 256GB SSD and a starting price of $ 1299.

Additionally, the company revealed the new Magic Mouse and Magic keyboards, while the new version of keyboards will have a Touch ID unlock button with a biometric input to applications and services.
