Activision has long planned to release Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile for mobile devices. The US-based company was recently acquired by Microsoft, which may explain the project's many delays since its announcement a few years ago.

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile was originally scheduled for May 2023, but was then moved to November and then 2024. Activision revealed a new release date for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile last week, and it appears to be official: March 21. Call of Duty: Warone Mobile, which has been in "limited release" for the past year, will be accessible worldwide on March 21 for iOS and Android.

According to Activision, the game would have two large-scale maps: Verdansk (120 players) and Rebirth Island (48 players). The game will also contain multiplayer maps such as Shipment and Shoot House, as well as a variety of modes.

More crucially, the game supports shared advancement with the console and PC versions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone, allowing players to level up their weapons and XP regardless of where they are.

Furthermore, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile shares Battle Pass progress with Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone on console and PC, allowing gamers to maximize their playtime and progress through levels more effectively.

Fans of the franchise who pre-register for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will unlock the following redeemable rewards:

  • The Ghost ā€œCondemnedā€ Operator Skin
  • The M4 ā€œArchfiendā€ and X12 ā€œPrince of Hellā€ Weapon Blueprints
  • The ā€œFoe's Flameā€ Vinyl
  • The ā€œDark Familiarā€ Emblem
