DuckDuckGo is launching the first beta version of its own web browser for Apple's macOS operating system, which is coming to be a new choice based on the privacy of users on their Internet browsing.
The company talks about an all-in-one solution in daily web browsing without complicated settings, so that the user is protected from pop-up windows, can clear all the stored personal data from the web browser with one click and mainly to be permanently covered by the Smart Encryption system that ensures that it visits the HTTPS versions of the websites.
In addition, the DuckDuckGo web browser comes with a built-in blocking system for most third-party scripts that may gain access to the user's personal data and also displays information about websites that try to track their activity, with the ability to clear anything that may has been saved in the ones visited.
In terms of performance, the beta version of DuckDuckGo web browser is based on Apple Safari rendering engine for macOS, so it is very fast. At the same time, it consumes 60% less data compared to Google Chrome and includes all the tools of a modern web browser, such as managing passwords, bookmarks, tabs, etc. But for now, it does not support the ability to import extensions.
The corresponding version for Windows computers will be available soon, but it is not known exactly when this will happen.
