After 30 years we will have sweeping changes in terms of the most popular football simulation of all time. EA announced that from next year it will remove the FIFA brand from its infamous game and instead will release it under the name EA Sports FC!

The company characterizes its move as the beginning of a great new era and clarifies that apart from the name, everything else that gamers know will remain unchanged in the next game (ie FIFA 23 will be released normally this year). This means that EA Sports FC will include all modes, tournaments, leagues and athletes, as the company retains the rights of 19,000+ players, 700+ teams, 100+ stadiums and 30 leagues (Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A included). He will have more to share with the public about EA Sports FC in the summer of 2023.

In the wake of EA's announcement, we also had an official position from FIFA on the issue. The World Football Federation not only does not remain uninvolved in the developments, but announced in advance through its president, Gianni Infantino, that it is already collaborating with other video game creators in order to release new games with its own brand!

Mr. Infantino stressed that gamers should expect great creations from the third quarter of 2022, just in time for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. He also claims that games with the FIFA brand will be the best for gamers and for football fans. The first major simulation, however, will be released in 2024.
