First view on Twitter's upcoming edit button

A few days ago, Twitter made the eye of millions of users of the platform and announced that in 2022 the long-awaited edit button will be added, at least for Twitter Blue subscribers.

This time we have the opportunity to see what the edit button will look like thanks to the findings of well-known researchers Alessandro Paluzzi and Nima Owji. The two reverse code engineers published images and from them we can see a large Update button at the bottom right of the tweets, but also how the editing works.

At this very early stage we notice that there is no time limit on the ability to edit an already published tweet, but it is known that Twitter will set some rules in order to protect the credibility of the social network as much as possible.
