Google is commemorating its 25th anniversary with a unique doodle today. Google Inc. was founded on September 4, but the firm has celebrated its birthday on September 27 for more than a decade. To commemorate this historic anniversary, the firm took a "walk down memory lane" and displayed several drawings. Today's Google Doodle includes a GIF that changes the word "Google" into "G25gle." The IT company stated that it was utilizing this day as a "time to reflect" while looking ahead.

Today's Doodle commemorates Google's 25th anniversary. And, while we at Google are always looking ahead, birthdays may also be a chance to reminisce. Let's go back in time to see how we were born 25 years ago.

Google was founded in the late 1990s by doctorate students Sergey Brin and Larry Page, who met in Stanford University's computer science department. The two immediately discovered that they shared a common goal: to make the World Wide Web more accessible. According to the site, the couple worked diligently from their dorm rooms to construct a prototype for a better search engine.

As the project progressed, they relocated the operation to Google's first workplace, a leased garage. Google Inc. was founded on September 27, 1998," it said.

Furthermore, while much has changed since 1998, the company's aim remains the same: "to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful." "We can't wait to see where the future takes us, together," Google said, thanking users for "evolving with us over the past 25 years."

Sundar Pichai, Google's current CEO, wrote a letter to commemorate the company's birthday last month. He reflected on the company's journey, its role in reshaping technology, and the route forward. He thanked Google's consumers, staff, and partners for their contributions to the company's success. He also expressed gratitude for the ongoing push to innovate and the commitment of the past and present Googlers.

Mr Pichai also emphasized the significance of innovation and flexibility in his message. He agreed that what was previously considered amazing technology became commonplace as the boundaries were pushed farther.
