Google is adding new tools that will provide travelers useful information after they are vaccinated against coronavirus. Its decision was based on the fact that COVID-19 restrictions and requirements still vary widely among domestic and international travel destinations.
A Google search for flights, hotels, or things you have to do will give you results with helpful Covid-19-related travel tips or potential restrictions at your destination. Google has added additional travel restriction details, including whether quarantine is required or if you have to show proof of immunization or a negative COVID-19 test.
However, these tools will be presented exclusively for country-specific and state-specific within the US. Expedia Group also created its Travel Advisor tool to help customers plan trips and follow any COVID-19 restrictions.
It should be mentioned that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) continues to discourage Americans from traveling until they’ve been fully vaccinated. However, according to New York Times, a European Union official said that Americans vaccinated against the coronavirus should be able to visit Europe this summer.
