Google may have mentioned folding devices in the past, but it has never released a device of its own in this category. Now everything is possible and Google may launch a new folding device in the future, thanks to Samsung.

According to ETNews, Google could take advantage of UTG (Ultra-thin glass) technology developed by Samsung to build its own folding device. Samsung's UTG technology is a key element in making folding devices and the company reportedly wants to expand on its business by selling the technology to other companies, including Google.

There have been several concerns that this could affect the competitive edge of Samsung as it means that more companies will be able to start making their own foldables, but the company considers they are ahead of the competition.

It should be mentioned that the release date of Google’s foldable phone is currently unknown.
