Instagram removed the ability for users to limit daily usage of the app to less than 30 minutes.

In 2018, the Instagram team had added the ability to set a daily usage limit and sends you a notification that you have reached that limit, so that you can withdraw from the social network. Until now, users were able to set a minimum limit of up to 5 minutes per day, but from now on this will not be possible.

With the latest update of the application, the "Set daily time limit" tab displays only the options 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours and 3 hours, with the last limit set by default. The pop-up message states that users can keep the limit they have set in the past, but now a new pop-up window appears stating that limits less than 30 minutes are not supported.

For the time being, no official position has been made by Meta (formerly Facebook) on the issue.
