There are many important new features that iOS 16 will bring to iPhone owners from the fall, and one of the most important is aimed at those who rush to upgrade to the new iPhone every year.

In particular, iOS 16 will allow the user to transfer the eSIM between the old and the new iPhone via Bluetooth, making it unimaginably easy to complete the process in order to enjoy his new iPhone without expecting any action from the telecommunications carrier.

From the menu of settings on iPhones with iOS 16 operating system, there will be the section "Set up eSIM" which will give you the option if you transfer your eSIM and phone number to another iPhone via Bluetooth. The transfer takes place when the iPhones are close together, unlocked and have Bluetooth enabled.

In this beta version of iOS 16 it is mentioned that this feature should be supported by the carrier, otherwise there is the option to transfer the eSIM by scanning a QR code given to you by the carrier or to visit a store to complete the process there.

For those who do not know, eSIM is a digital SIM card that allows you to access a telecommunications network without the need for a physical nanoSIM card from the carrier.
