Meta is launching new tools to help Facebook Groups administrators keep their teams safe, reduce misinformation, and facilitate their management and development.

The most important new addition is the automatic rejection of posts made by Facebook Group members if they include content that has been classified as fake by Facebook's third-party control groups. Another feature is the addition of "Suspend" to temporarily block members from posting, commenting, reacting and participating in the Group chat.

In terms of management, admins can choose to automatically approve or reject requests from users who want to join the Facebook Group if they do not meet the criteria set by the admins themselves (eg age, questionnaire). A new overview of the Group is also added so that they can easily and quickly see how it is developing, as well as the ability to create QR codes that can be distributed offline to potential members. The latter can scan the QR code with the smartphone camera to be taken directly to the About section of the Facebook Group and decide if they want to become a member.

New features are available worldwide today.
