A very small, but important feature will soon be added to the Windows 11 operating system, which will solve the problem of screen-recording. Microsoft is preparing a tool for direct recording of the user's screen with one click, as until now this possibility is only available through third-party solutions.

The tool is already being tested on those who participate in the Windows Insiders program, while the general launch is expected in one of the next small updates of Windows 11. In addition to recording the screen, users will have the possibility to choose to record a specific part, as with Quicktime on macOS.

We remind you that there is a corresponding tool in the Xbox Game Bar, but only for recording specific applications. According to Dave Grochocki of Microsoft, the Snipping Tool has always been one of the favorite tools of the users of the Windows Insiders program and that is why the company wanted to integrate a screen-recording solution.

We know that the Snipping Tool is a favorite tool among the Insiders community and we are happy to introduce the built-in screen recorder with the new update. Snipping Tool has always provided an easy and fast solution for capturing and sharing screenshots from PC, and with screen recording we extend its capabilities even further.
