Microsoft has announced that it is testing a new version of the Microsoft Defender platform, which will bring a host of improvements so that users can manage the security of all their devices (from laptops to tablets and smartphones) from one place.

The company emphasizes the ability to monitor the security situation on all devices from a common dashboard, which will be available in the first stage through the devices running Windows 10 and Windows 11. Each user will be able to add up to 5 devices and the system will display alerts and suggestions to protect it from possible attacks.

After the user logs in to the Microsoft Defender platform with his account, then he will be able to monitor the situation on both his own devices and those of other members of his family, as long as he has added them under the same account. The platform also adds new malware and phishing protection systems to mobile devices.

The new version of Microsoft Defender will initially be available in the US for Windows 10, Windows 11, Android and iOS device users.
