Monument Valley 3 and Squid Game: Unleashed are coming to Netflix Games

Netflix introduced Squid Game: Unleashed and Monument Valley 3 at GAMESCOM 2024. Both will premiere exclusively on Netflix later this year, but no specific date was provided for Squid Game: Unleashed. Season 2 of Squid Game will begin on December 26, 2024, followed by season 3 in 2025. The new game could be released around the same time as the second season.

In Squid Game: Unleashed, players compete in a 32-player party royale, completing both show-related and unique obstacles. In multiplayer, you may team up with friends and win rewards by completing daily missions and participating in events.

"Making games based on hit series and films is one of the most exciting opportunities we have at Netflix," said Bill Jackson, Head of Creative at Boss Fight, a Netflix Game Studio. "We're thrilled to offer fans a new way to experience the Squid Game universe — one that combines the show's pulse-pounding action with the immersive thrill of gameplay."

Monument Valley 3 will be released on December 10, marking the first new installment in seven years. According to Netflix, the next installment of Monument Valley involves solving puzzles to progress through the game.

Monument Valley 1 and 2 will appear on Netflix on September 19 and October 29, respectively. The streaming site will be the only one to provide the full Monument Valley series.
