According to a report from gaming industry analyst Newzoo, mobile game consumer spending reached $93.2 billion in 2021.
The research names China, the United States, and Japan as the top three biggest earners. China led the market with $32 billion in mobile gaming revenue in 2021, followed by the United States with $15 billion, and Japan with $13.7 billion in consumer spending throughout the year.
It should be mentioned also that the biggest gains are coming from emerging economies in Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East. Although these regions account for less than 10% of market revenues, they are showing the fastest growth which is projected to continue in the coming years.
