Anime lovers will be delighted with the release of Level-5 Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds for Android, iOS and Windows PCs in the Western markets. It took the company about a year after the game was first launched in Asia to open servers around the world, but better late than never.
Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is a JRPG game with graphics reminiscent of a movie by the famous Studio Ghibli, which has even undertaken the creation of the cutscenes, while the music is the work of the great composer Joe Hishaishi.
The plot is slightly meta, as gamers start out as characters who are called upon to play a fantasy virtual reality game called Soul Divers. After entering his world, they meet a mysterious girl (Rania) who assigns them the mission to rebuild the kingdom occupied by powerful enemies. You soon realize that the real world of fantasy is inextricably linked, so you have to do your best to succeed.
In Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds you will find 5 different classes to choose from, while there are two multiplayer modes, one cooperative to play with friends and one competitive for 3v3 battles.
Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is available for free and includes in-app transactions for anyone who wishes.
