Ever wanted to move your Apple Music playlist to YouTube Music? Now you can, but there are certain limitations.

The update is mentioned in Apple's latest support document. According to the paper, you must visit Apple's Data and Privacy page and request that the playlists you've created in Apple Music be transferred to YouTube Music. To do so, you must have a current Apple Music or iTunes Match subscription, as well as an active YouTube Music account.

There are some limitations, too. You can only transfer playlists that you've made, including collaborative playlists that you own. Music files, non-collaborative shared playlists, curated playlists, and folders containing your Apple Music playlists are not moved. Finally, playlists can only include music from YouTube Music; any other audio files, such as podcasts, audio books, or anything you've posted yourself, will not be moved.

Aside from the limitations, it's good to be able to shift your Apple Music playlists to another platform, even if it's just YouTube Music. Unfortunately, Spotify, Amazon, Tidal, and other music streaming services (except YouTube Music) are not supported.

By the way, the opposite is also true: To transfer your YouTube Music playlists to Apple Music, visit Google Takeout and follow the instructions provided.
