Pac-Man 99: A new battle royale game for Nintendo Switch

Bandai Namco has announced the new battle royale Pac-Man 99 game for Nintendo Switch. This new game is available as a free download exclusively for subscribers of Nintendo Switch Online, since yesterday.

Pac-Man 99 is a 99-player game, where each player will be the last survivor of Pac-Man, struggling to cross the maze and avoid all the ghosts, who are up against him. Ghosts that players defeat will be sent to other’s contestants screens as a "Jammer Pac-Man." If a player is confronted with one of these ghosts, his speed will be reduced, making him more vulnerable.

Another new feature in Pac-Man 99 is Sleeping Ghosts. When it becomes impossible for the player to avoid one of these Sleeping Ghosts, they’re automatically multiplied and they will chase you as a "ghost train". The only way to get rid of these is to use a Power Pellet.
