The gaming industry is still "shocked" by the huge acquisition of Activision-Blizzard by Microsoft, but Sony does not intend to remain indifferent to the moves of its big rival. The company in turn acquired Bungie at a cost of $ 3.6 billion and is throwing the ball to Microsoft over the issue of exclusivity.

From the first moment of the acquisition of Activision-Blizzard, the question arises whether Microsoft will continue to offer its great titles (eg Call of Duty) on other platforms. So far this is her intention, but one never knows what will happen after 2-3 years. Sony, by acquiring Bungie, takes over a great studio that developed the first Halo and Destiny, and from the first moment emphasizes that it is not going to keep something exclusive for the PlayStation.

The immediate plans of Sony and Bungie are to continue the operation of the latter almost autonomously, which employs 900 employees worldwide and will proceed to new recruitments in order to deal with new projects. We look forward to seeing what these will be and what will happen to the exclusives.
