Sony acquires Bungie for $3.6 billion

The gaming industry is still "shocked" by the huge acquisition of Activision-Blizzard by Microsoft, but Sony does not intend to remain indifferent to the moves of its big rival. The company in turn acquired Bungie at a cost of $ 3.6 billion and is throwing the ball to Microsoft over the issue of exclusivity.

From the first moment of the acquisition of Activision-Blizzard, the question arises whether Microsoft will continue to offer its great titles (eg Call of Duty) on other platforms. Sony, by acquiring Bungie, takes over a great studio that developed the first Halo and Destiny, and from the first moment emphasizes that it is not going to keep something exclusive for the PlayStation.
