Telegram unveils Music Profiles, Sticker Mini App, and Next-Level Gift Features

Telegram continues to enhance user experience with a fresh set of features, making profiles more expressive, stickers more customizable, and gift interactions more dynamic. The latest update introduces music on profiles, a new Stickers Mini App, revamped profile layouts on Android, improved gift functionality, and several tools for sharing and upgrading collectible content.

Users can now add music to their profiles, allowing a new layer of personalization. Any audio file from your chats can be pinned to your profile with just a tap in the media player. Once added, the track is displayed in a sleek bar beneath your profile photo, giving visitors a sense of your musical taste.

Profiles automatically create a playlist as more tracks are added, preserving previously pinned songs. To add a track, users simply tap ‘Add to Profile’ in the media player, or select Save to… > Profile. This integration provides a seamless way for users to share their favorite tunes with friends and followers.

Telegram’s open platform for stickers and emojis takes a major step forward with the introduction of the Stickers Mini App. Previously, users could create and manage custom sticker packs through the @Stickers bot, but the Mini App centralizes these functions into a single interface.

With the new Mini App, users can design stickers and emojis, manage their packs, and access detailed usage statistics. The app makes it easier than ever to produce and distribute personalized digital artwork, allowing both casual users and creative professionals to express themselves more freely within Telegram chats.

Android users will notice a visual overhaul of their profiles, featuring sleek scrolling animations that were first introduced on iOS. This update follows a Telegram contest for designers and developers, which regularly gives participants the chance to contribute directly to the platform. The improved profile aesthetics enhance usability while providing a more modern, polished experience for Android users.

Telegram now allows users to select which tab appears first when someone views their profile. This feature is particularly useful for highlighting saved stories or curated gift collections. To change the default tab, users can go to Settings > My Profile, press and hold on a tab, and select ‘Set as Main Tab.’ The ability to prioritize certain profile sections ensures that important content receives immediate attention from friends and visitors.

Since 2021, Telegram has supported themes for individual chats, and the platform continues to expand this functionality with dozens of new dynamic wallpapers inspired by collectible gifts. Each wallpaper is tied to a gift’s attributes, including model and backdrop, creating a unique theme for every collectible. Current supported gifts include Plush Pepes, Precious Peaches, Durov's Caps, and Heart Lockets. The only way to unlock these exclusive chat themes is by owning the associated gift, adding an extra layer of engagement to Telegram’s collectible ecosystem.

Users can now help friends upgrade their gifts by sending Stars to cover the cost. This feature ensures that recipients can enjoy upgraded collectibles even if they are low on Stars or unaware of the upgrade option. The platform also introduces an ‘Upgradable’ filter for finding gifts eligible for upgrades and an ‘Upgrade Next Gift’ button to streamline back-to-back upgrades. To enhance the experience, Telegram designers added suspenseful animations to gift upgrades, making the unboxing process more exciting and interactive.

Telegram’s Gift Marketplace now displays the approximate resale value of collectible gifts. Users can view detailed statistics, such as the average sale price of similar gifts in the same collection, providing transparency and helping collectors make informed trading decisions. This addition further reinforces Telegram’s commitment to creating a secure and engaging environment for users who enjoy collecting and exchanging digital gifts.
