The opening ceremony for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games featured a compilation of classic video game soundtracks to welcome its athletes to the Olympic Stadium during the traditional Parade of Nations.

The parade included music from Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Sonic the Hedgehog, Monster Hunter, Soulcalibur, Chrono Trigger and Dragon Quest.
