In the wake of Elon Musk's takeover of Twitter, the development team continues to test new features to improve the platform. In particular, some users of the social networking application for iOS devices are now seeing the option to display closed captions on videos, while Android users will soon be taking part to the tests as well.

As you can see in the following tweet from the company support account, the CC button has been placed in the upper right corner of the attached video. The new feature may seem obvious today, but it had to be fought by Twitter employees because by 2020 all accessibility features were being developed voluntarily in their spare time.

The CC video button is expected to appear to all Twitter users and all available platforms in the coming weeks. It will be interesting to see in general the course that the most popular social network will take after the historically significant acquisition by Elon Musk.
